Head of Sales – Independent Primary Care & Neurology
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and execution-focused sales leader to drive national sales across the independent primary care and neurology markets. This individual will help build and lead a high-performing team and play a critical role in expanding adoption of our cognitive health platform. A background in healthcare software as a service (SaaS) sales or diagnostics sales and experience managing national teams is required. Experience selling cognitive and neurology solutions preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and scale a national sales organization targeting independent primary care and neurology practices.
Own revenue attainment and sales execution across SMB and middle market segments.
Recruit, train, and mentor sales managers and account executives; foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
Build and manage a pipeline of strategic opportunities through field engagement, CRM oversight, and close collaboration with Marketing and Product.
Implement and optimize sales processes for each segment (inside sales, field sales, channel/partner).
Partner with executive leadership on pricing, contracting, forecasting, and expansion planning.
Serve as a senior voice with key customers, strategic partners, and at industry conferences.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in medical device, diagnostics, or digital health sales.
Proven track record of leading and scaling national sales teams in the healthcare space.
Deep understanding of the primary care and neurology markets, including sales cycles, reimbursement dynamics, and provider behavior.
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
Experience selling into physician-led practices and health systems, with a strong grasp of buyer personas and clinical workflows.
